SEVEN DAYS OF RAIN

I discovered just the other day
That this rat race could get in our way
Sci-Fi static blinds us to our dream
But things really are the way they seem

Locked in mirrors, is it truly us we see?
Holy terrors replace sanity
One day's sunshine ain't worth SEVEN DAYS OF RAIN
When we're through the hard time, We will laugh again

I sho' don't wanna die, No!
But I can't keep on going like this
Somethang gotta cha-ange
'Cause I just can't keep going like this

Method madness fabricates a scheme
Rehearsed sadness, the stars up on the screen
Pull my heart strings, What I feel I can't be sure
Is life just a play? Will our love endure?
