ESCAPE FROM THE PAST

I think of all the things I've seen
Throughout my life and in my dreams
I even think of you sometimes
Between the scenes, behind the lines

I think of all the things I've done
Upon this Earth, beneath the Sun
I've learned to take it like it comes
The storm plays on, rain beats like drums

Get in the car
Put your foot on the gas
It don't matter if we're driving too fast

Get in the car
You know good things can't last
Move down the road and ESCAPE FROM THE PAST

Slow down, don't you want a ride?
The stars are shining and the moon is bright
If I come back I'll see you then
No ending, we can only begin
